"You Don't Know Me" Wins Audience Choice Award

"YOU DON'T KNOW ME" WINS AUDIENCE AWARD AT5TH ANNUAL NYC DOWNTOWN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL Debut Film Bests Field of Over 2,000

 New York, May 14, 2009 – Emerging writer/director Sean Melia's first short film "You Don't Know Me" has won the Audience Choice Award at this year's 5th Annual NYC Downtown Short Film Festival.  The festival was held at the Duo Theater in NYC from April 27 - May3rd, 2009.  Over two thousand films were submitted, thirty five were selected by the festival committee.   The film is a unique twist on the serial killer genre that OpenFilm.com calls "A minor-key horror tale told with Hitchcockian flair... for a first time director, Sean Melia sure knows how to rachet up the tension".  It has also been featured as an "Editor's Pick" on Openfilm.com and was a top-10 finalist in shootingpeople.org's "Film Of The Month" competition.  View "You Don't Know Me" in its entirety here.  Reviews are welcomed.   ### Contact: Loree Louis Productionsloreelouis@gmail.com
